Jayson, look hard into the kfx or z-400, When I was purchasing my quad, I was wanting a machine like the one you described all around. The 400 is the bike, excellent handling machine for the woods, light and responsive for wheelies and jumping, and when you master this add a 440 kit . Now you have ample power for MX and drag racing. I have a bone stock for now Kfx 400 and I give v-forces fits in 100 yards drags. Don`t even talk about the mx course.

lsittingbull, and this is just what i think, always do suspension before power, because if you have to slow down all the time, whats the point with having all the power? by the way, when i got my 400 last month, i had been planning on something like a 300ex or something like that. but, i knew i would want more power real soon, so i got my dad to agree to give me some money towards it, and that would be my christmas present for the year. definitly think it was worth it, i am very comfortable on my 400ex now, and i couldn't be happier with it! good luck and have fun with whatever you get

for 2 grand you can get a warrior if you look around, dont even think about paying 2 grand for a blaster. maybe just save up another $1000 and get a nice 400ex~or just do what i did and get a used, badly beat up running 400ex for real cheap (i paid $1,300 for mine) and pour about 2 grand into it, making it your ultimate quad.

Warrior all the way. If you have the money, though, go for a 400ex or a Z-400. You would get tired of the Mojave and Blaster pretty quick. I'm 15 too and still very happy with the power of the Warrior.

i think if you can afford a 400 right now, i believe it is worth the wait, save up another 1000 inwinter or something, you could make 1000 easy these days, youll grow out of that 250 in no time, like everyones saying 400 put some money into it over time then youll have a quad you can keep until youre older

I dunno about the Z-250. If he's 15 he'll probably want something faster, and the Z is considerably slower than the Mojave and the Blaster too. Go for the 400ex, you'll be happier in the long run.

well i guess it depends on what his skill level is if hes a beginner looking for something easy to ride go with the z250 but if he wants something faster and with a clutch and chain drive go i would probaly say go with the mojave.
