If somebody gave me a 250R and I re-built it and tuned it Ill almost garentee it will take a predator. Not raggin on it or nothin but, 2-strokes are just beter in most races....

 

If you go to any Yamaha dealer and ask them what the 450 puts out they will tell you 39 HP at the crank!! not rear wheels unless they are trying to make a sale? the 450 will smoke a predator in a drag, or on the track.

they might have an organized race in west bath... me and my buddys plowed out a track down where we live and go out and play around every weekend.. its probably 200 Ft in the sraits wilh wide corners...

 

lol.. ok.. yes the yfz is fast... but in a drag.. stock for stock a pred doesnt loose by much.. and after 300 ft.. the pred catches and passes the 450... i raced my buddies 450.. and i aint gonna brag but i beat him the whole way.. but he isnt that great of a rider and that was the reason i won.. but if it was sooo fast.. then even tho he is a little underskilled than i am.. he shoulda won... right?

 

The YFZ is a very nice bike... and I would probably own one if they were out when I bought my pred. But the Pred is quick, it handles great and is alot of fun to ride. Its not the fastest, but it stays up with the best of them.

 

yo drag and hozed there is a plowed out ice track on parker pond in casco if you want to settle this on the track?? i would say its about 250 to 300 ft

usually people put studs on thir tires? idk i may be wrong [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] we had masons cr 250 out there with studded tires and it hooked up great he was racing some snowmobiels so...

 

mason dosnet have a cr250.... crf 150. as u kno boot i dont have studdes in mine.

 

predator will beat it all day long----and i have beaten 2 yfz 450's but lost to one on 400ft street drag...
