DVX400 Vs Predator Vs 400EX

i wouldnt trade your 400ex for a dvx. u'll lose ur pants on trade in for a not much (if at all) better quad. they're slightly taller than the ex and dopnt handle quite as well. the ex dosent have quite the power. its a toss up. the predator has a lot more power than both and handles better too.

if i were you and had the money i would do it...you gain more power, more speed, better balance for wheelies and bicycles and REVERSE...i know some people say you dont need reverse but they're just being ignorant if you wont admit it helps. and to answer your questions Csquared i think it handles BETTER than the 400ex...it feels nicer and even more nimble...and speed wise, in a drag race its close till the DVX hits third then you pull about 20 feet away then it holds there till you get to top speed then you'll slowly pull away. thats how it goes for me and my neighbor and his is piped and mine is stock...any other questions just ask and i'll be more than happy to put my 2 cents in

I don't need reverse...had mine for about a year or so...and haven't needed it yet. If you look ahead of where you are riding and pay attention, you will not need it, and if you do, the quad isn't that heavy....

GOD people like you are annoying i didnt say it was a NECESITY its just NICE TO HAVE...if you've ever tried to go through snow then you know reverse can save you from some heavy lifting....and if you argue this your just out to argue you have no common sense

wow...don't flip out dude....I was just stating, and helping the quads that don't have it out.....that I haven't needed it, maybe I'm a better rider than you too, I don't know......yes it could be nice, and come in handy.....but I personally would rather save the extra wieght.......

i've never needed it either....you dont need it....its just alot nicer having it than having to get off and pull your quad around...like turning around on a narrow trail...also it dosnt weigh that much extra to have reverse...the 400ex dont have reverse and its heavier than my dvx
#37
it weights more than you think.....probably close to like 12lbs....I guess it just depends on what kind of conditions you are going to ride in....if it were me, I wouldn't let "no reverse" stand in my way of some great quads.....but up to the buyer I guess.

yea well the DVX is a great quad...and i dont see you can be talking about the disadvantages of having a heavy quad, you have a predator....which is almost 50lbs heavier than the kawisukicat. with about 1000 in mods the dvx can beat a predator...but i will agree its up to the buyer and which quad they like...i can see liking a quad enough that reverse wouldnt be a factor, but i'm a trail/snow/track/all around rider and its just a nice feature and i'm not going to cry over 12lbs.

Just got a new DVX a couple of weeks ago.I love it.Handles awesome and great power. If you trail ride like I do reverse is very nice to have, lots of dead end trails etc.Why get off and push and pull when you can simply turn a **** and be on your way.
