the yfz will take the Honda. I have seen it happen. However you are all missing the bus here, if you really want the speed the DS650 is the baddest one out. The 450's are the top drag machines and of the the Yamaha tops the Honda. The Yamaha has 2 less HP out of the box and comprable weight. The DS weighs almost as much as both of them but also has way more HP, torque, and stock speed. well you might be right but the forum is asking about the TRX and the YFZ...not the DS

 

This Thread is for the fastest stock for stock. The YFZ is the quickest buts its not the fastest. The Raptor Banshee DS650 Predator and a Quadzilla all have more top end then the YFZ so in a long run the YFZ will get beat

 

It depends how far you are drag racing.

 

a Raptor and Banshee Both Stock will win in a quater mile vs a Stock YFZ, seen is so many times

 

Yea i would hope so. But how many people bought their fourwheeler to go out and drag race a quarter of a mile? Or even drag race? I mean i drag race some but its not what i like to do all the time.

And if thats what i did do i would get a banshee for drag racing over any other.

 

i don't want to take a lot of crap for posting this but i just want to know. what bike is faster stock for stock, the yfz450 or the 450r. i haven't been in touch with the atv world lately. so i totally missed the release of the 450r and missed what everyone said about it. so could someone let me know which is fastest stock for stock. thanks everyone

thats what the first post was...this thread is between stock yfz and stock trx...i dont see DS, Raptor, Quadzilla, or Banshee in there anywhere

 

The YFZ is a little quicker then the TRX but the TRX has more Top End. There a difference of like 1 MPH.

There so close that you mostly want to choose the one that you thinks looks better.

 

Hey DVX dont get your panties in a wad. I understood the question and answered it and added more to the post. i didn't see where it said please don't contribute, just answer with Honda or Yamaha. Don't hate just cause I'm faster than you. I understand that you did what you thought you were supposed to do and bought the 450 that all the rave was about. It's not your fault you are trying to make up for your lack of riding skills by sitting on the newest bike out. It's also not your fault that you believed all the hype about it. Hey, it's not even your fault that my bike is faster than yours. It is your fault that you would rather gripe about Honda vs Yamaha (no others please perDVX) than do what the overall forum is for......... communications of thought, opinions, and ideas.
