I'd have to agree i think ozzy holds the record at 150mph on that honda banshee. its a shame they are gonna stop makin it by 2006. Honda banshees are the only stronghold 2stroke lovers have left I think he was runnin the pink powerbands and double muffler bearings for that kind of speed.

A four wheeler has much more rolling friction than a two wheeler. A quad also has horrible aerodynamics compared to a crotch rocket. You can't EVER get a quad to go as fast as a crotch rocket with the same motor because of wind resistance alone. A corvette and the last model year Camaro SS ( 02' ) had the same motor +/- 5hp. The Corvette would do 175 mph areodynamically limited and a Camaro SS would only do 155mph Areo limited. To overcome the wind resistance a camaro would need 75- 100 Hp more to overcome the "wall". This same principal applies to Quads and steet bikes. The primary troublespots being the front and rear fenders, The open wheels and the position of the rider on a quad. You really can't tuck and lay down on a quad like a street bike.

i seen a banshee go go a lil past 120 on a 3 mile straight stretch on the rode, it had about 20 grand in it all together including the price of the 4 wheeler and it also had nos, and the reason we know he went that fast is the cop clocked him at that speed and then went after him ( the quad kicked his azz)
