does anyone know how to override the rev limiter on a rappy's reverse. This is one of those anoying safety feature that sucks especialy when stuck in mud or sand.

 

The V has an overide button built in. It rips in reverse too!

 

search around, there are kits to get rid of the limiter and have a nice switch to turn it on and off, or you can just wire it totally out. Look on ebay

 

After you are on the site scroll down to the bottom and hit on reverse revlimiter removal.

Don't you think they put a rev limiter on for a reason? But yeah I know what your sayin 3 of my friends have Raptors. They like having it though, for some odd reason.

My limiter is gone and it's nice when I get stuck in some deep sand....But be careful on asphalt or concrete. Mine died going in reverse and I flipped the darn thing ontop of myself. Man did I feel stupid.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

I bought mine off of ebay for like 15 bucks and it works great, although reverse does you no fn good in the sand with paddle tires on.

 

my reverse is freaking crazy, u have to ease the clutch out real slow and it almost stalls if u dont got it revving very high

 

the 01 raptors came without a limiter from the factory.
