I am thinking of getting a wolverine to use around the farm and ride trails and at the dunes. I would also be taking it through some mud. And i would also take it up hunting. what is your guys opinion on this quad. i dont want this to be a big fight between honda and yamaha i just want some answers. thanks in advance

 

a wolverine would be great for the trails and farm... but i dont think it would be good for the dunes...

 

the wolverine is pretty much a good quad all around, its alright in the mud, it has some power and speed ( same engine as the warrior) , as for farming it prob would be great also. but dune riding it would be that good at all

 

what would make it not so good at the dunes.

 

I think whay he meant was it wont be all that fast in the dunes as for traction you'll have plenty... I also know that the wolverine engine and tranny are real reliable

 

i think the wolvering is a good all around quad trails its great in and farm it has racks for hauling but dunes.. i don;t know anything about that

 

yeah can get the warn 424 select to unlock the full time 4wheel drive for like 300 tops.. then it would be even better

 

the wolvie is very good for trails and my friend has one and i havent seen it get stuck in mud yet! he also has the 424 kit wich helped it alot with power. for hunting im not sure but it has good ground clearance so you could make your own trail trying to get to a good hunting spot. the wolvie is an all around good quad.
