Sunday Roll-Over
#1
I was riding my 400ex on Sunday. And I was hanging a wheelie in 1st, then shifted into 2nd. And then my rear bar grabbed. I couldn't find the rear brake, and by the time I found it, I was laying on the ground and my EX was laying on it's bars. I'm okay...but the wheeler needs:
Today I just ordered EBC Heavy Duty Brake Pads (they were shot) I was going to get Brake Pads before It rolled and Bel Ray Brake Fluid. and Cascade Parking Brake Block off. And I was looking at it today, My steering stem is bent AGAIN. This is my 2nd steering stem, both have been stock. Should I buy another stock steering stem or go aftermarket? stock is 53.00 shipped to my doorstep, Lonestar is in the neighborhood of $275.00 without bar clamps and $332.00 with Bar clamps. Any Advice???

that sucks man, if i were you, i would go with another stock steering stem, but thats just me. I have never bent a steering stem on any of my quads. I dont think it would hurt to get another stock one, especially at that price, but if you can afford it, and you think you may bend another stock one, go for the lonestar steering stem, but there are more things out there that you could buy with $332.00, so its mostly your call.

hmm lets do the math...2*52=104...if you would go with the aftermarket one....52+275= 327...I myself would go with the stocker...it is cheaper and if the after market one bends it is going to cost a hellofa lot more to replace it then the stocker...just my .02

Thanks for the Advice guys. Anyone know of some weaker bars??? My Tag X-5 are too strong and keep bending the steering stem. Any suggestions? Would something without a crossbar be better? I need new bars (they are bent too awkwardly to bend back) and a new Steering them. End up spending around $130 by the time im done.
