Default dead spot developes when hot

i have a 01 wolverine and lately after riding about a hlaf hour it developes a dead spot. when i hit the throttle hard it doesnt go right away. the only reason i notice this is because ive been working on wheelies and it works fine for a while then it just doesnt go right away. After letting it sit a while it works fine again. Any ideas?

Yeah your starving it of gas when your doing wheelies. My guess is that when you’re in the wheeling position the gas goes the other side of the tank and the hose for the gas is probably on the backside of the tank. So you probably using up the gas that’s already in the line then it runs out. After letting it idle for a couple of seconds the fuel fill up the hose again. That’s only my guess. I have come to this conclusion only because it happens to me also after doing wheelies. Witch I have recently leant how to do on my rancher.

U mean after doing wheelies or just if u pull it out of the garage and it happens from the moment u start it up? Has there been a really long period of rain or moisture in the air? And check your choke and make sure its not on.

sounds like its not getting enough fuel, maybe its cause when u wheely gravity makes it harder for the gas to get to the engine and when u give it full throttle afterward it sucks the gas hard but theres not enough there so it bogs out. also try reving it for a brief moment before u try to do a wheely to keep ur revs up and the gas flowing.
