Z400vsbanshee

If the banshee can hook up off the line (which can be hard cause i can kick donuts on dry pavement), then bye bye Z.
BTW, if you put a pink powerband in the banshee, it would leave the Z sitting no questions asked.

No powerbands in this thread, we will have to field another slew of posts asking which color is best for their bike...
A stock z will not beat a stock banshee in a drag race. And mod for mod, the shee will leave the z. 300' is the foundation of sand drags. The banshee is faster than the z, stock vs stock or otherwise. Once modded, there arent many atvs that can keep up with a shee. I've seen built shees run faster times than custom drag atvs with snomobile engines.

You guys with the banshee's go out and find one to drag race......then come back on here and let us know how bad you got SMOKED!!!!! How in the hell can you guys say that the banshee can win, when you have never raced one before. **** most of you has never seen one run before. I thought I could beat one too until I raced it and seen how fast it was. Like I said before he was all stock.

Are banshees notorious for their low end power (as in a short race, more specifically a 100 yard drag race), well lets let the march 2002 issue of 4wheel ATV action speak. I quote on page 34 of that issue, "The Yamaha Banshee has about as much low-end grunt as a rubberband-powered balsa wood toy glider." Back that up stud

Its still a good atv but If I had to chose from the 400's I'd deffinetly get the ARTIC CAT. YES i said artic cat. There's one in red and black in the dealership by my house and it looks pimp.

Then I scrolled down, and relized that you are. Anyways, Stock for stock, a banshee isn't all that much, its an old, outdated machine, from the 80s. The lt/z/dvx400 is from the 2000's. The 400's are just a tic slower than a stock banshee. I'm not saying that because I'm a "Typical Banshee Owner", I'm saying that from personal experience. 4wheel ATV action magazine is definatly not the ATV Bible. Next time you decide to talk about people who ride banshee's, think logically before your write something stupid.
P.S. I'll race your rocket-ship looking civic with my banshee.

Thats what makes me proud to be a banshee owner how they never take crap from anyone. i salute AnimalMother85 and Lebanshee keep it comin guys

your definatly right on the whole not taking crap from anyone. We all need to stick together, we're being over ran by bigger displaced, lower horsepowered 4-stroke beasts. Then again, we banshee owners don't talk very much about ourselves, for that we like to prove out points by our actions, rather than what we have to say. Yes, for some of you who may think I am sounding hypocritical, well, thats tough. Prove me wrong about my banshee beating thumpers and civics, along with an occational foxbody/snakebody 5.0/4.6 mustang. I did lose to a harley davidson once, but then again, it had some crazy 1400cc motor, and it was in a sportster. Oh wait, he had over double the hp I did. oh well, theres allways someone bigger and badder out there...
