"Looks better" is a matter of opinion, and if I'm not much mistaken, the front suspension is the same as on the Warrior. The rear travel is different, but the shock is only preload adjustable, where the Warrior has rebound adjustment as well.

The one thing I really love about the new Warrior (ok, ok, Raptor 350) is the remote choke lever up on the left handle bar. The choke **** on the Warrior is a pain to get at!!

Somebody here witnessed a race between a stock warrior and the new rappy. Apparently the rappy won by a couple or so lengths, but I have no details on how long the race was or anything.

Does anyone know the gearing on the new Rappy? If it's the same as the Warrior stock 13/40 then you would think the Warrior would be the faster of the two considering the 22" tires vs. 20" on the rappy. No doubt the Rappy will be quicker with the lighter weight and smaller tires though.

yes i have compared my raptor 350 to my brothers 02 warrior,as far as engine and frame there the same the difference is just really the plastic exhaust, shocks, bumper, footpegs, and other little stuff. And in a drag between the two,we dragged three times and i beat him 2 of the 3 and top speed was the same, but he has a fmf exhaust,K&n filter.

If your friend was set on buying a Warrior then it would be better to buy the Raptor. Unless price is an issue and he wanted to get a Warrior at a cheaper price. You really need to ask your friend if you steered him wrong. Then you let us know what he says.
