I have a 2003 kfx 400, i ride in south dakota on our farm, ya i ride fast and i do some jumping but not that much. My problem is that i am always popping tires, so i take them into the local cenex shop and they seem to tube them. i thought atv tires were suppose to me tubeless. but i pop a tire yesterday one of the ones that has a tube in it shoud i get new tires from my dealer or should i do some thing else with these things. i need some opinions thanks sdf7

 

sometimes i tube my tires if i have a problem with it, and it seems to work, what ply tires are you running? You should run at least 4-6 ply tires. Otherwise they should not be popping.

 

The tires on the KFX are stock so they should be ok . THANKS SDF7

true true, am i right that the stock Titans on the Scrammy, (maybe TB, not sure) are only 2 ply!? they can do better!!

Kenda makes good tires that i dont think are too $$...check it out

 

stockers are 2 ply that is why they are busting.


Look into some Kenda Knarly for the back of your KFX and some Kenda Klaws for the front. They won't bust as easy as stockers and they aren't expensive.
