Thinks it's inour nature to want more for less. But it seldom happens in the real world. I have considerable time on both quads and there is no comparison between the two. Stock for stock or mod for mod, the 400ex pulls longer and harder.

 

A 400 ex will not walk over a warrior i have a raptor 350 and can beat a 400 ex off the line every time all the way through 6th gear then he will slowly pass me thats with my few little mods and his is stock 400 ex's arent what every one makes em out to be there just average as far as power goes ive ridden one on about all terrain and dont like it no more then mine but it does feel more stable on hills. But anyways to sum it up they seem to both be great quads and shine in there on light but neither is that much faster than the other.

 

Yes, it will. Not only is it faster in a drag, it pulls over a much wider range of rpm's. Making it much more effective on the trail or track. It's a better engine design. Something to do with those 2 extra valves. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Once more NO a 400ex will NOT walk over a warrior my freind has one I CAN take him every time off the line yes it has a wider powerband no it does not pull harder if it pulled harder then i couldnt beat him off the line he is much smaller than me and all in all can ride better than me but every time we raced on the road i pulled stayed out front till 6th gear then he slowly passed me and not by much since my mods theres not that big of a difference in the warrior and 400ex's power if both is well taken care of. And the reason the 400's power band is wider because it has a 15 tooth front sproket and the warrior has a 13 tooth front sproket. So quiet trying to act like a 400 ex is sooo bad azz because neither the warrior or the 400 is no speed demon nor does either have arm breaking tourqe when compared to a 400z-- 400dvx or 450r or yfz 450 to sum it up there just both great trail quads tried and true and both shine in there own light.

 

Compared to a warrior it's a better machine. And I spank stock warriors, so don't try to blow smoke up my a$$. Like I said, I've spent a lot of time on both and there is no comparison. Hands down, the EX is a better quad. Better power and better handling. PERIOD.
