I read in a 1996 dirt wheels something about this motor being put in a new quad. I wonder if it will ever happen? Husaberg/Folan 948cc V-TWIN, 84 lbs w/starter, 4-stroke motor, 80-90 HP. Liquid cooled, 4 valves, 6 speed tranny. This motor has to be lighter than the DS650 motor!! The people building it were JP Racing & MCM Motorcycles. They were going to use an Outlaw frame.

Sounds cool, but I`m not to crazy about V-twins.
I would rather have an inline twin.
So, from all your poasts, sound slike your DS650 isnt turing out too well, heh.
I guess you ended up with a lemon.
thats too bad man, anyways, gotta go

Does anyone have any info on this motor or the company that makes it? I read that Cannondale has worked with the engine company as well.

A 950cc engine put in a quad chassis wouldn't be considered a quad would it? I thought that there was a limit on the cc's for it to be considered an atv like 750 or something.

Talking about real hp machines, does anyone have info about fitting a 500RZ in a banshee? I know someone put it in a quadzilla, but don't know about a shee.
