I know as well as anybody shee's is about as fast as it gets, and mod for mod nothing compares. But a piped and jetted Z will run right next to a stock shee. Stock they are not all that fast do to restrictions.

suk4, not bashing, but you really have to have some seat time on a 2-stroke in order to know how to drive a banshee "right". Banshee has to stay in the powerband for the whole run to get a fair run.

suk4, i totally believe what you are saying, but either 1) the banshee had something wrong with it, or 2) you weren't keeping it in the powerband the whole time. you can't ride a 2-stoke the same way you ride your bike. you have to keep the revs up and shift faster through the gears

i'm gonna have to agree with that...its not all that unbelivable...the banshees come so choked up stock...but put a pipe on it, and i dont think a z could come close to it....but a stock z and a stock shee...somethin was wack with that shee dude

no, you do NOT need double the cc's from a 4-stroke to get the same power that a 2-stroke has. This used to be the case, but with 4-stroke tech. improving, the margine is closing. my 450 4-stroke can take a 350 2-stroke. And no, there's no way in hell a z400 will beat a banshee..stop being stupid

yes there are many ways a z400 could beat a banshee...like something wrong with the engine or a really bad driver...now a banshee in good condition and riders with equal weight and skill...then your right there'd be no way in hell a z400 would have a chance
