400EX gas

Default 400EX gas

I was wondering what kind of gas do you put in a 400EX? (regular,plus or super.)

i asked this one guy, i forgot his s/n or name but he loves honda's and he said to run 91 or 92 octane, i used to run 89 but my dad bought 93 now

I figured out what kind of gas to put in my 400EX it's super right?

just use super it will be nicer to the inside

I used 92 or 93, my 400ex has never seen less

stock...use regular...higher octane fuel burns differently then lower octane...there has been a bunch of talk on the forums about this before...but if you are stock you should use regular...the only reason why you would run high octane is if the compression is raised...

I always run 91-93 in my sport quads.
