ok, ill soon have my dvx400 so i was wondering, what mods should i get first for it? should i do performance first or protection and what should i get in what order.. what do you all think? any input greatly appreciated, thanks much for ur time! oh and by the way if i were to get something i would like to have the best of that specific mod cuz if im gonna save cash for a mod i figure i might as well get the best one... and i ride in trails mostly, some tight some open trails, and a sand pit thats more like loose dirt but it is sand just not very fine sand.

First i would pipe it, go with a sparks, big gun, hmf, or yosimura, and then jet it then get an airfilter uni or K&N and some skidplates since you ride mostly trails.

I would start with the skid plates first and then go with pipe, kn, and jets. I would also cut the fenders. Adds a proven 3 mph topend on my bike. In your case just take them off.

Karnage,

I would start off with skid plates, I should have done this because I mostly ride trails to. Swingarm first then move forward. My factory plastic swingarm skid is split in two and replacing a swingarm or an engine is pretty costly. I just got a pro armor racing bumper and like the rigidity and appearance, also it is lighter than stock, so I think I will stick with proarmor. The P.A. swingarm skid has recessed holes for the bolts which is a good idea and it also has a tow loop so you can pull your buddies back to camp. Hope this helped you.

later sparx
