I just bought a kfx 400, I have had it for only 4 days and i put about 5 hrs on it so far. In the owners manual it says dont go passed half throttle until you put 10 hrs on the bike, and i havent gone passed half. Yeasterday I was in 5th gear less then half throttle and my bike shut down. I figured it was just over heating but it wouldnt start after. So now it doesnt start at all! I am wondering if my quad is screwed or is it just a minor probalem? Any thoughts would be highly appreciated.

 

whatever it was, it wasnt your fault and hopefully if somethings wrong its under warranty....after i baught mine i put it in the truck...and my dad wanted to stop at a bar on the way home so i drove my dvx from the bar home, full throttle the whole way...i didnt find out till a few weeks later your supposed to break them in...but anyways i've never had any engine trouble

Yea & if any thing is wrong take it back to the dealer.

Your warranty.... should cover any problems.......

 

Not to be a wise A$$ but does it have gas? Any mechanical problems should be taken care of by the dealer as mentioned above. Good luck gettin her going.
