Sport or not?

If you're a good rider you'll never need 4wd? BS.
Ride on some seriously steep hills in the mud one time and you'll be very glad you have 4WD. You may get by without 4WD, but you'll be going around what the real machines go through.
Unlike Wolverines, Scramblers have true 4WD, you can switch it on and off and they are way faster than the Yamaha.

I have a tough time putting sporty and 4x4 in the same breath and definitely not high performance. If jumps are at all a real interest I would look at one of the easy to handle sport 4-strokes. The 400ex would probably suit your needs perfectly and give you more flexibility than the 4x4's. Just one man's opinion but I'm a go fast go high guy and don't tackle ultra-ugly terrain that requires a 4x4. Rider skill can get you over a surprising amount of obstacles on a sport machine though.
