Well I tryed out a raptor this weekend my friend has one. Man they have some power the torque is crazy I thought that my 300 ex worked good and it dose but you just can't compare the two power wise. I definatly think that my 300ex rides smoother and handles better but those raptors are sure fast!!!

More power is not everything. On woods trails the raptor wouldn'y be able to loose me!

Haha, my wife loves the Raptor power in the dirt and the Banshee power in the sand.

 

I rode a Raptor once. Was it fast? Heck yeah! Powerfull? More than you need! The thing is the chassie just felt ALL WRONG..................Too short ( ), too tall / \, too narrow ><, and very tippy. ......... .02

Just because your quad has more power than a raptor doesnt mean it doenst have a lot of power. A 250x has 12hp thats not much power.

 

I believe you and even more so if you just let them sit with the engine off.

 

LOL! If the Quadzilla was that much faster than a Raptor, I can see why they quit making them. Both of them have more power than needed for trails. Thats where a 400EX will always be the king IMO!
