Default 300 EX sprocket change HELP!!!!

Because in order to remove a link you have to remove them in pairs to get the link to match up and It is just too big of a change for the chain adjuster to make up for and with the chain theway it was it is too loose even with the adjuster all the way tight. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong and just can't see it of if this just wont work but you have the same combo as me and it works fine:

How can I tell if my chain is stretched? Dose anyone else have problems removing 2 links from there chain and then can't get it to tighten up properly ifso how did you fix it? I don't want to replace the chain for no reason!

The rollers should be spaced at 1/2 inch. If you measure the length of 40 rollers, along the chain, it should be 20 inches long.

Default 300 EX sprocket change HELP!!!!

Had to get a new chain but id did seem to work although the adjuster is still maxed out. I had the bike out on sunday and I love the differance there is a big diff in topend and I also didn't loose much bottom end at all and I did notice quite a diff in 1st gear aswell but it isn't too high sped at all it's perfect for the trails in 1st gear now where before I would be in 2nd gear. I like the new changes it also seems easier to wheelie now too because the gears are longer now!

COOL I knew you would like it!!! Glad to hear you got it all figured out I just got back from the Oregon coast sand dunes w/ my 300 & it was soooooooooooooo fun, I've heard they don't do well in the sand but w/ my mods it did great & was pretty much even w/ our modded blaster so I was happy
