I have the Honda 250x modded and rite now i can make it pass up a 400ex (stock) and beat drag shees and raptors off the line till i hit 4th but i have until thursday before i can cancel the ad in NEWSONWHEELS but if i did sell it i would be buying a used Raptor or 400ex or banshee something like that for around $2000-$3000 is it worth it?

well a raptor or 400ex is always better,but that is a real nice 250x you have,so if you really need a more powerful bike then go with the other 2,if not and the 250 does the job,then keep it.

 

i think i might keep it but i wonder if theres a way to beef it up cheaply

 

what exactly done to your 250x? says theres some kind of banshee thing going on in there whats done to it?

 

i mean the guy i bought it from did something to the engine i think he bored it a lil but im not sure is there a way i can tell?

 

Hey darkman a way to tell is to see what the top speed is,because most stock 250x/300ex go about 56mph.

 

mine will top about 63

 

well i don't know if a pipe you got would increase speed by that much,but it may have an oversized piston or something else.All i know is that is a nice 250x you got,especially for an 88.
