All time quad has to be 250r then banshee & quadzilla but the next quad is the Z400 reason being it was the first quad in 15yrs to put the smack down the the 250r on mx & gncc race tracks then the 400ex for be bullet proof then raptor for it high cc numbers in a sport quad since the quadzilLA. AND THE QUADS ARE ONLY GETTING BETTER YEAR BY YEAR!

 

I'll say banshee because, how many years has it been alive? It's outlived its competition, and is still a contender in the new school thumper scene.

 

I vote for the warrior, its the quad that made quads popular. The thing is a tank, a great trail bike, and the best selling quad of all time.

 

Well what are we talking about here, performance? utility? For performance the 250r set the standard, 38 hp in the middle of the 80's. I was going but just sheer numbers, the warrior is the best selling quad of all time.

I would say the 250R, it dominated the MX scene for how many years? I do respect the Banshee for a dune machine, it's been the top hillshooter/drag racer for years.. but I think it takes a lot more engineering ability to put together a good MX quad than to stick large 2 stroke engine into a mediocre frame. The aftermarket made the Banshee fast. Yamaha did stick their neck out with the Banshee in spite of large liability lawsuits that made the other manufactures pull back on putting out high performance quads. I'd still say the 250R though, followed closely by the 400EX. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Banshee by far. For 18 years it's been mod for mod faster then any bike made. No other bike has it's looks or engine style. Truely a different beast. There is no other quad that can be seen or herd over a distance and be identified. And every new bike that comes out everyone wants to see how it runs compaired to a banshee.

 

my vote is on the Kazuma KMX-50
