Electric-I think you have got it backward??? Public land is precisely where you do need to be quiet! Here in Calif., you have to be 96dB or below, TO RIDE ON PUBLIC LAND or in AMA races (96 is actually quite loud). If you are on private land, you can be as loud as you want, but it is a big mistake if you are going to pi$$ off the neighbors!

2 kids down the road from me both have very loud exhaust on a 400ex and a z400 i can sit at my house and hear them riding the trails about 1 mile away,it doesnt bother me in the least bit,im just sick of other ppl calling the cops and then they patrol the area waiting for anybody on a quad.

the thumb throttle made my had go numb and the carb I have came with it

 

yea my exhaust sounds good i got a cobra but i dont like it i cant even load it into the truck without the neighbors complaning it is gonna be gone soon and my new quad will have quiet exhaust! i bought it with the pipe though


PPL COME DOWN!!! how u know the person who wants a loud exhaust isnt gonna be riding in the middel of no where where it wont matter!

but for where there is alot off ppl thats no drag racing or just trails loud is not a good idea escpically during hunting season
