400ex is the better choice, but blaster is a 2 stroke and u will NEVER get bored with that thing, plus those blasters u can get to scoot

The 400ex will be more reliable, and in the long run will be more to fun to own due to that fact that it's not a high maintence machine like the two stroke blaster.

I have a Blaster and have ridden a 400EX, the Honda is a better machine. However, and this is a big one, you can buy 2 Blasters for the price of one 400EX

i have a 400ex, and love it, my friend has the modded blaster, which he stored at my house, we ride all the time and all of use switch off bikes.

i ride with people with all sorts of bikes, warrior, blaster, 400ex, ds650,

when i ride the blaster it just puts a smile on your face, it is a "BLAST!" to ride, so nimble and quick, jumps ok, wheelies are good, doesnt ride like the 400, but you wont ever get tired of it. mods are cheap, and they are so plentiful. bottom line even if yamaha stops making the blaster, people will continue to put money into them and ride them for what they are intended for, FUN!
