Saprks Pipe

Default Saprks Pipe

If i want to get a Curtis Sparks x-4 pipe do i got to jet it. I dont wanna casue I dont liek the ways jets fill when i wheelie. All i want is just a Raptor w/ Pipe n K&N. Is that possible or do i goptta jet it

You have to jet it. I dont know what you mean by the jets filling in when you wheelie. If you are having bogging issues when you are on an incline or wheelying then you need to adjust your floats, it has nothing to do with aftermarket jets.

You cant install the K&N without jetting changes either unless you keep the airbox completely intact.

sorry i meant feeling. ya my buddies raptor kinda bogs when u pop it up in a certain part of a gear. is it hard to adjust floats. how do u do it or shood i just take it in.

It shouldnt bog anywhere if you get the jetting right, thats a user error not a problem with the jets, pipe, filter, or quad.

There are plenty of threads on float adjustment in the Yamaha forum, do a search and you'll find them. Its not very hard to do at all.

mines jetted and i have nevver bogged in a wheelie even when it was 800yds long
