05 Predator
What are you wanting to know? They weigh 415 pds dry, they are a power house, I but a 40 tooth rear sprocket on mine to pick up some low in tourqe. They are a great trail quad, even though they are wide. The wheel base is 51 inches, I think they are about 5 to 7 inches wider then the Rappy. They have 4.5 inches of ground clearance. And of course the 05 has reverse. I hope this helps you out, go to your local Polaris dealer and test ride on your self, just because I love mine don't mean you will like it.

I only have a few hours ( less that 10) on my 05 Predator and so far love it. As with all things there are good points and bad points so... here is what I can tell you:
The Good points:
Very powerful and fast.
Handles good, very stable on trails, front end stays planted and flat, rear will break loose and slide predictably.
Great suspension.
Looks good over all.
Built to be strong and easy to maintain (Grease fittings where needed).
The bad points:
Bad (Ugly) finish on the engine (Barrel and head).
Electrical wiring is loose and looks unfinished.
Not as easy to ride as other quads ( I.E. Z400, LT250R) more effort required to ride trails. I haven't been able to figure out why but I have mussel soreness (Arms and shoulders) after riding the Predator.
Nothing is perfect and there will always be some compromises and room for improvement. My suggestion to Polaris would be work on Engine finish and wiring quality. Overall I am very happy with the Predator and feel I have made the right choice

dfox, make sure you set up your suspension. It makes a big difference. The factory sets them up for a standard weight and on the Pred I heard that they don't have the suspension setup right. Check with the dealer or the forum to see the sag adjustment for that quad. I had to set up all my quads for my weight and riding style. You will like the quad a lot more once you do that.
