What's your question? Which one is better, is that your question? If it is, the KFX will take it here, it's more powerful than the EX, handles better now since they added better suspension to the 05's. The honda is just outdated, and the KFX has newer technology in it.

Both are really great quads,

400ex- Not as much maintnance needed, VERY reliable, great on tight trails, very stable and doesn't tip easy.

kfx400- fast, nimble, reliable, a little more tipsy then the EX but if ur a good rider it doesn't matter.

If you want a good trail quad that you don't want to work on much go with the EX, but if you want a little more of a performance quad I would go with the KFX.

Ready to put your foot in your mouth?

The kfx 400 is the same bike as the z400 and dvx400. 400cc dohc 4 stroke with manual clutch and 5 speed transmission and reverse.

You are thinking of the kfx700, which btw, will outrun the kfx 400 even being a fully automatic cvt driven sport quad weighing 516 pounds dry.

I wont even start on snowmobile engined atvs with belt driven automatic transmissions.

Want to race my "stab and steer" rubber band quad after I make my duel exhaust pipe and buy a clutch kit?
