I really don't want anouther quad but want your opinion, I hate 4-strokes so don't even bring them up. I want to know which is better, banshee or cr125?:

What year cr125?

Here's a general rule--2 wheels are always faster that 4.

the question should be, a 250 bike or a banshee.. that is a lil closer of a comparison. If your choice is a 125.. then go with the banshee.

Ok, here you go, if you dont want another quad, dont get one, get a cr125, 250, 500 or whatever you feel you want. I dont see why you are asking the question if you just dont want another quad.

What do you wanna do with this machine? Then you can compare. In a drag race, of course a 125 isnt gonna run with a 350, but on a mx course, its gonna beat it I bet.

Are you serious.. a stock CR 125 is as fast as a stock banshee in a drag? Ive seen pleanty of banshees eat 125's of all kinds for breakfast. The banshee gives my 250 a good run for its money. No offence-I've been riding bikes for 10 years and I dont ever remberber seeing a 125 beat a banshee.

If your going to get a bike, I recomend a 250..preferably a Yz 250 for track or the Yz 250 wr for enduro.

Actually a modified KX 60 with a good rider would probably beat one until it hit top speed. Its all about power to weight ratio:

KX 60 around .15
CR 80 around .18
CR 125 around .17
CR 250 around .19

Banshee around .11 stock

You would need around 75 hp to beat a motocross bike with a Banshee...

The banshee is great for when you would like to take it easy such as mountain exploring. It is also a blast for duning. However if your ambition is for jumping, racing, and erratic behaviour your only choice should be a bike because it is better suspended and cheaper to repair. A Banshee also serves as a great winter machine compared to a bike. And whoever thinks that a cr or kx250 can hold a candle to a banshee is doing drugs. It is not the power issue. Its a matter of hookup. A banshee will sit and spin tires will a bike is taking off. But when you are sitting neck and neck at devil's dune or chokecherry, the Banshee will outclimb any bike.

Uhhh...I hate to tell you this man, but a Banshee doesnt like to ride the trails. It has allmost no bottom end power.Wich will cause you to foul your plugs rather easy.
