predator, ds, rappy, are real close on top, I talking about stock quads. I like the predator the best. Go ride them and see which one you think is the fastest. You can make any of them fast. Not afraid to race any body with same mods.

 

a 250ex is pretty fast bike through the woods
the quadzilla is jus 2 big and long but it is one of the fastest bikes out there if u r looking 4 fast
i would give the 250r my personal vote even tho it is old

a 350 Yamaha Warrior is seposedly a top rated trail bike.. because of its torque and durability.

 

ok here is my opinion,
The 300ex is a great quad and tears up the woods BUT isnt the greatest on top end.
The Warrior is to heavy, and has bad handling BUT is better at top end than a 300ex.
the honda 450 is a awsome quad(not sure i never rode one)
the yamaha 450 is suppose to be a little faster than then honda 450
honda 250R Is the legend of all sport quads, Speed of a 2-stoke and the power of a 4-stoke, BUT is older.
Raptor is supposivly rated a good quad, BUT is overrated (Never rode one, but i hear it alot)

well for trail riding i would want something with reverse and that wasnt to big and heavy so ide prob go with a raptor or a pred

 

Well you want the fastest quad...There are regulations with speed just about every 660,500,450(stock) will do around 72-75 but will not exceed 75mph as regulated so all are about the same as topspeed goes so its just how quickly can you get there and reliability I own a Raptor and its pretty reliable but Honda is suppose to be more reliable so go for the 450r if you can afford it

 

for sand, the 450s can be made into some runners, but before I got the work done on my predator, I raced a 450r on the flats and beat him, he had a cam and an lrd pipe, all i had was a pure polaris pipe and a K&N clamp on airfilter with a 160 jet in it. If you do a lot of drag racing the predator is going to be your best bet for a four-stroke.

That descibes the 450r right there.....it has reverse and only weighs 350lbs!!!
i say 450r

 

450r has no reverse. i like my z in the trails the best.
