well if you are getting used why do you look for a used raptor or ds 650 or something like that

 

cuz they weigh 12 tons. I just dont see why you would want a ds650 unless you like racing baja. They are tanks.

 

You can pick up a used 400 scrambler/sport/TB for $2-3 grand and with $400 mod it to be faster in a strait line than the 400 ex or Z.

 

yah, but the scrambler's arnt really a sport quad... like i think hes talking about.. but they are a nice machine.

 

yeah they're to heavy and handle like a soap derby car. id say either 400ex or z400 is good

 

IMO z400.

 

And thats why the Scrambler 500 HO was the fastest in the woods course in the shootout with the ds 650 and the V-force!
And that was a 4x4 version.

Well my 400 is not a soap car. No matter how much mods you do on the Z 400 you will never compete with the scrambler

 

for those of u who are thinking of comparing the 05' 400ex with the 05' z400.......dont do it. Dirtwheels magizine says after testing both machines to the limit "the z400 smokes the 400ex" and there not just talking about speed there.
