Hey guys I need your help and any useful information about open air filters.......
I own a DVX 2004..
Is it a good idea to replace the stock air filter with a opened one and will I need any rejetting??

what do you mean by opened? are you talking K&N? if you are then yes you might need to rejet depending on if your quad is piped or your leaving the air box lid off

 

my quad isn't piped....... what air filter would you recommend???

 

i'd get a k&n or a uni filter and it depends on how and where you ride on which is better
k&n isnt good for muddy/wet riding. great for trail riding .IMO

 

there's not to much mud here in Israel so it's mostly trail riding for me....
I was looking on the net for a k&n or a uni filter but i didn't find ones for dvx..... are th z400's and the dvx's the same??
I need to know exactly what i'm getting cause it will be shipped to israel and if it wont be good i wont be able to take it back...
so my qeustion is where could i find an air filter for the dvx if it's not like the z's......
