Default Turbo raptor.

i want to put a turbo in my raptor and i wanted to know who makes them,how much ho can they make,can you guys give me a link to the website?

85 hp is not that bad. what is the top speed on a raptor with a turbo.

A speed thats well beyond what's safe. It all depends on your gearing...

There are lots of threads on raptor turbos. Do a search and you can get all kinds of good info.

Default Turbo raptor.

Your almost better off just buying a nice streebike engine and dropping it in the raptor frame. I bet you could do it for $4500 and it would be wayyyyy faster!

Not to mention wayyyyy more reliable as far as clutch,rod and transmission go... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

sure u could do that, or you could be one of the few guys to put a trubo on there quad as compard to people who put street bike engines in there quads.

unless of course u want to make 150 hp, than go street bike

Unfortunately there is a relative lack of low end power with both engine setups, but the midrange is good and the top end is incredible.

Surely you could gear a streetbike engine for some more low end power,I mean do you really need 150hp of top end? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Well that is the problem that a lot of owners of these machines have. In a 300' drag the engines have problems beating well built original engines. It seems there just isnt enough time to take advantage of the high rpm power.
