How often do u guys change your oil. The last time i changed mine was November and havent really ridin alot since then cause of all the damn snow.

ya i change oil every 45 days, if u ride a lot, like everyday, change it more often

 

i change mine every 2 weekends of riding

 

Snow riding is fun for about 3 weeks after that u want dirt, speed, and warmth. lol

 

I ride about 3 hrs a week how long should i wait between i change my oil.

 

About 1/2 year if you keep your air filter clean and oiled.

 

Bikes that just sit need oil changes too! Acids build up in the oil and you need to get them out of your engine periodically, even if the bike isn't being ridden often. I would say change at least every 3 months even for a bike that isn't ridden often.

My oil change intervals vary depending on the bike and riding conditions, but these are average:
450R 2-5 hrs.
Z400/400EX 10 hrs.
All my other bikes 20 hrs.

 

What kind of oil do you guys use? I need to change my oil but wondered if there was a better choice than yama-lube.

 

The dealer told me to change oil ever fourth tank of gas. That seems pretty often to me but he said that is sbout 20 hrs. of riding time.
