im doin a drag race wit my buddy in a day or so and i need some quick ideas or thoughts on how to make my quad faster quick. As u know i gotta semi-auto....but is there anyway to shift real good in them in a drag? I plan on taking my air box lid off but i dont have time or money to order anything. It would be very helpfull if u guys could help me out on this one! thanks

 

What's your buddy riding? If it's something major then you need more time.

there isn't too much you can do in a day without new parts...and is this race really that important...it sounds like a big deal to you.

 

ya i know that its hard to do stuff w/ out new parts thats y im seein if theres any ideas out there.....And ur right about this being a big deal cause this race will get alot of bragging rights

 

There isnt much you can do. Practice your starts alot, that is about the best thing you can do now without any parts. Good luck.

 

and keep your airbox lid on, because if you take it off and dont re-jet, you will lose top end and possibly damage your engine

 

I don't think you can powershift an auto clutch. I don't think it will let you and if it does it would really be hard on it.

 

I should be okay to take the airbox lid off because i have bigger fuel jets right? Also thanks for the luck guys!
