Default best exhaust for a yfz450

Welcome to the forums. The only pipe I have expierence with is the Yamaha GYTR on my brothers YFZ. The thing is we really dont have anything to compare it to, because he bought the quad with the pipe on it already. We do however ride with a stock YFZ. My bros has the pipe I mentioned, a k&n filter and rejetted. The power difference is pretty significant over the stock quad. He beats the stock off the lin and never looks back. He is also beating a Shee with toomeys, open lid, and rejet. Sorry I dont have any other info, but have you done a search on this topic yet? Here is a thread I found in Yamaha yfz pipe

Man I have been searching myself. I cant get a good answer out of anyone. I have gone to other forums and still nothing. Do your own research and find one that puts the power were you want it. Every one here seems to Like Dr.D but it doesnt make the most power. It does for a slip on but there are better full systems out there. I am looking at the sparks, LTE, LRD, and the pulse charger. So far they seem to make power were I want it mid to top. GOOD LUCK

I have The Ballance full system from HMF and this pipe rocks. The torque and power gained is sweet.
