yes ,cool air is more dense than warm air so you want to run rich in the winter.every 20 degrees down you bump up the main

Almost all quads and motorcycles are jetted lean on the idle circuit and rich on the main, right from the factory. This allows the motor to meet emissions and provides a saftey factor for when someone runs wide open. There should be enough of a saftey factor, that when the air temps drop, the motor wont be too lean at wide open, but will definetly be too lean on the idle circuit. This shows up as hard starting, needing a long time on choke, poping thru the intake when cold. Usually just a 1/4 to 1/2 turn of the mixture screw is enough , to enrichen the idle when cold, and coming back that 1/4 to 1/2 turn when the weather turns warmer ,stops the idle mixture from being too rich in the summer..
Keep an eye on the drivability symptoms, which are listed in this article, and youll know if its too lean or not.

Default jettin changes in different temps??

i got mine jetted last summer by my dealer for the first time when i got my pipe...i ran it this whole pass winter and now the spring without changing anything..i dont know but my quad seems to run prefect in any type of weather conditions.. it always starts fine and never gives me any trouble... i never have to mess around with the jetting or nothing...on the other hand my friends quads which are jetted also there quads take longer to warm up in the winter and dont run good until they get really warmed up during in the winter times as of mine it run 100% all year...

Mine runs great in winter or summer doesn't matter. I run a 150 Dynojet main in mine. The only time i think you would need to change the main jet is if you take a trip somewhere with a drastic elevation change from where you usually ride!
