You're the one talking all this crazy non-sence about how by him piping and jetting his bike he got about a 50cc gain and how stock to stock the predator will beat the yfz by a big gain. What the hell is a big gain?? And learn how to put sentances together for God sakes, its rediculous, you have like eight run-on sentances in that post. I think the only one "comfused" here is you. Learn how to spell. And I hope you don't mean a stock predator beat a modded 660 flat out, yeah oook, I'd love to see that one. Bottom line buddy, don't talk to me like I don't know anything about engines or how this stuff work. The yfz is very fast accelerating........the pred is faster on the top end by about 2-3mph. Stock for stock(unless it is an 03 like mine which were faster for some reason).....the yfz will win a 300' drag. Get to modding them.......and the pred is going to start to win out



Mdaddy........I'd be glad to take your offer.......I'll race your warrior, or your "friends" yfz.........doesn't matter, I'll still win. I've got mine dialed in almost perfect for the mods......and it runs darn good. I like to race for big money, or slips though, so keep that in mind........



You guys who think preds aren't fast, need to come to SW Iowa........we'll show ya fast preds, wether we loose or win, they are still pretty fast. I think we're getting them down into the 4.4 in 300' range.......which is fairly respectable for a 4 stroke.

i know this is off topic but man a 1986 honda 250r with a 650 crotchrocket motor in it. holy that thing would scream. how fast does she go? ... i used to have a 1986 honda 250r too but the engine was blown and i just sold it. i wish now i kept it to play around with.

 

well to tell you the truth......I'm not sure that its a 250r......I think it might be a lt250.....or a lt500 frame.......but either way....it does fly......but we sold it a while back.




Superman.......uhhh.......I'm pretty sure that I'm right. This pred is running in the range of 4.5-4.3sec in the 300'.......this is still with shocks, and on race gas only.......He's got one with no suspension(I think).....but don't think they have ran it yet......


The motor is worked on both of these......big bored.

 

oh my god that yz450 has a large advantage against its opponet...there is no way the only thing close to beatin that thing is the new honda.

 

bradracer..i'm not saying it couldn't happen but i know of a well built yfz 60+ horse that doesn't run those kind of times...also of a well built z 50+ horse thats not running those kind of times.

Why don't you try and get some timeslips before throwing out those kind of numbers...btw...what kind of mph were those times

 

I don't know the mph's.......off hand. I'm not just throwing these numbers out either......they are factual.....that is.....the 4.5 and 4.4sec.........


It doesn't suprise me the yfz didn't have those good times, nor the z.........the pred is faster, when modded, like I've been saying........especially faster than a z........

It's definatly possible. I know the Sparks 450 runs around like 4.3-4.4.. Something like that. I just haven't seen alot of real fast preddy's. If you have any vids let me know, I'd love to see one of those things in that area.
