Hey everyone. I was wonder who would win in a race between the YFZ450 and the Predator500..

 

post it in the Yamaha AND in the Polaris forum.that will tell you which

Depends on the race, rider, terrain, proper jetting, etc.

But the yfz has more hp and a better power to weight ratio if that's what you are asking. Search.

Spyder- couldnt have said it better. Just dont ask in the yamaha or polaris forums, you'll get very bias results. Ask in a honda or bombardier forum

 

did yu guys not see the test shootout between the yfz, predator and the Z440, the YFZ kicked the pants off both the other bikes!!

 

yea but those are only based on opinions. it is very biased also.

 

i seen a the new preditor hand it too a yfz and the 450R two weekends ago..i was shocked how much faster the new preds are versus the older ones.but as much as i hate to say this , the raptor 700 beat all three of them pretty dam consitantly...not by much , but almost every time...thats about as unbiased as it gets...this was in the 100yd drags, i havent seen any of them race on any thing longer than that...
