My son has a Arctic Cat 300 4x4. he is the only one in family that has a 4x4. he is not happy with it since everyone else has a sport quad. We are planning to sell the Arctic Cat and get him a sport bike at his request. the Quads he has his eyes on are Honda 300 EX, Suzuki Z-250, and Honda 250 EX . At this time there are no plans for him to race but he wants a Quad to grow on and that will last a while. I would really appreciate all the input from you guys. im not just saying this because im a blaster owner, but thats wut i would suggest out of any of those. the blaster has more potential, and is definatley a quad you can grow with. also there are more mods for the blaster than any of those quads mentioned. Hmm, 5'2 135?? No offense at all but it sounds like he's probably not TOO old, maybe around 12 or 13, and alittle on the heavier side.... but I'm just wondering because you say you are looking for a bike he can grow into even a 300ex might get too small for him in a couple of years. A raptor 350 might be a good choice because off the showroom floor it is alittle faster then a 300 ex but torque wise it isn't at all. But with some upgrades you can bring out the torque with some simple upgrades so when he gets older he wont complan about not being able to keep up with you[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I'm only saying all this because of exact experience, because I'm 14 about to be 15 and when I was alittle younger I was alittle heavier then I should have been, but I have definetly leaned out and am pretty athletic so a raptor 350 to me is alittle weak. I think my z is about perfect for me only weighing 120lbs. Another thing is that the 350 raptor I think is only about 400 more then the 300ex
