And as far as results go ...
In this years Pike's Peak race, in the ATV division, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th place ATVs were all Yamaha Banshees. And please, no one ask if they were modified, ... duh. Our local town also just had ATV drag racing at our rodeo arena. The top twenty fastest ATVs were all Yamaha Banshees, with the fastest time being 200 feet in 3.08 seconds. That beats a YZ 250 in case you were wondering .

I forgot about the Banshee I might take a look at one sometime because I have heard they are really fast, how is their suspension though, are they good for jumping? Those race stats you showed are interesting, the Banshee dominated! Sounds like a sweet quad.

The suspension on a Banshee isn't too bad. We just bought a 2005 Banshee, and although the suspension isn't dirt bike caliber, or even DS650 caliber, it is about on par with a 660 Raptor. I was pleasantly surprised that our Banshee had pretty decent suspension.

Well the banshee has the most potential, since it's a 2-stroke and has 2 cylinders. There's nothing better than a banshee, 250R, quadzilla, LT250R and even a 2-storke trike to take up a hill. I like the banshee, but I really think the suspension is horrible! But that's just my opinion.

^^^ahh the word quadzilla the speed and hill killa those are some really fast atvs power to me is much harder hitting than a shee the shee has a dead point if you get rite at the bottom of a hill and try and hit it were is the 500 ZILLA has no weak point pure power if you have ever seen huevos 3 theres tons of em on the hill climbing section of the movie but i do love a banshee they are awesome and look 100 times better than the zilla didnt yamaha make a yz 500 i know they had the yz490 has anyone seen a banshee with one of theses guys cramed in it?

as far as power the banshee feels most like a 125. gutless off the bottom of the rev range with a hit in the upper midrange that pulls all the way to the top. BUT its seat and everything make it feel like a couch. the honda and yamaha 450s feel most like dirtbikes with there motocross like seats and slim erogonomics. plus they are quicker stockl then a banshee
