Default Lrd stage 1 powerup kit?

I just bought a 2005 450r and found that the first gear is a little tall. I stepped it down one tooth; however, it still wants to chatter on slow starts. I've read that this is a known problem; however, I haven't found how to fix it. Any ideas?

It runs great when I run it ***** out. But on trail runs, especially uphills, it chatters.

I'm looking at the LRD full system with their power kit. However, does this help with the bottom end? In the sand, it pretty much ***** out. However, in the woods or trails doing slow starts and then accelerate the first gear seems like it is still to tall.
