PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Polaris Scrambler 500 4x4. Today it was running fine and all of the sudden it started messing up. I know they don’t have gears but if you have a quad that does and you put it in 1st gear and wind it out and never shift that is what my Polaris is doing.
Why?
Does anybody know? Is it the clutches?
It will only go about 10-15 MPH and it revs out to the limit and when you leave off the gas it slows down real fast. Just like riding around in first gear on a regular quad (not Polaris) If anybody knows why please tell me.
Thanks in advance.

No I didnt get it wet in any way. I was just riding with my boy and I dont get to get on it real good too often but when I finall did I thought it was going to blow up. It revs out real fast and it usually just keeps pulling and pulling until u hit about 70mph, now it just takes off and winds out to about 20mph and its maxed out ready to blow up. Also when u let off the gas it slows down real fast, just like running the hell out of first gear in a manual shift.

Well I took the cover off today and had a look. I cant see anything broke, fired it up and everything looks fine but how would you really know? Just because everything turns doesnt mean it is turning right. I dont know I had it up on blocks put it in gear and reved it up but it still only spins the back tires about 10 mph. When you ride it it doesnt seem to slip, it pulls itself real strong but it maxes out at 10mph and the engine is red lining the when you let off it slows down real fast like its in low range or something and it doesnt have low range. Can anybody tell me what I should be looking at exactly when im looking at the clutch assembly. any suggestions are greatly appreciated. thanks
