Got me a race coming, my cousin's bringing his brand new '06 DS 650 this weekend to race me with my Banshee. I got T-6's, V-Force Reeds, Modded Air Intake, Jet Kit and Noss Machine Heads. Do ya'll think I have a chance?.....He has been talking smack, I don't know what to think since I have never raced anything but YFZ's and 400's. Anyone ever seen that race?...Let me know, Thanks.

 

I wouldn't worry about it..... Just wait till he breaks in that motor and does some mods [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

What kind of surface will you be racing on? sand? dirt? asphalt?
Is the ds all stock?
Are your riding skills the same as his?

 

you shouldnt have a problem beating the ds (as long as its stock, even with some basic mods you should still beat it). as long as you are a decent rider, it should be a pretty easy race. Banshees are the king of drag racing, just ask enFORCER[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img], lol

 

you shoudlent have a problem till he puts some mods on, then you can be afraid. that motor in the DS is BMW aproved as its used in their motorcycles

 

No matter what though, he could mod the crap out of the DS but you could Mod the shee even more. Banshee's are the ultimate drag bikes, When money is dropped into them...
