I've been looking at Predators then saw the Outlaw and decided to wait. Meanwhile I came across a great deal on an '03 kfx400 and decided to buy it to tide me over for awhile. I can see why everybody loves this bike! Handles great and is extremely quick. The previous owner dropped a tooth on the front sprocket, I was surprised how well it lugged around in first gear thru the slow stuff. Some posts say this motor doesn't like low rpm's. Obviously I did a search on the '03 frame problems (front shock towers), either this is a later '03 where the problem was fixed or it hasn't cracked yet. No signs of rust or cracked paint, etc. Anyway, I really like this bike and coming from my trusty 300EX to this is a world of difference.

I haven't geared our down yet. However a friend did it to his and it does make a world of difference I think the cracking on the '03 frames were effected "if" you did a lot of jumping and hard landings. They are great bikes
