Default Paint?

I want to paint the plastics and tank on my 250r. Anyone have any suggestions on what type of paint I should use here?

to get a great finish, try roughing the plastic up a bit with a 1000+ grit wet sand paper, layer it on with around 2 light coats of krylon primer, then 3 light coats of krylon fusion, and then seal it with a nice silicone based sealent (duh) and you should be set, remember before you put the primer on, to clean the plastics up with rubbing alcohol

Fusion will not hold up. It will scratch off very easy. Stock ATV plastic is not designed to be painted. It requires a lot of work to make paint stick to it.

We painted a Fourtrax w/ fusion and it has lasted for over a year w/o any scratches or wear

Thanks for all the tips guys!! Crazypainter, how do you prep? I heard that if you paint the tank that the paint can bubble, is that true?

Your lucky you haven't scratched it cause thats where it will start to come off. Don't use a pressure washer on it either. Once it comes loose the pressure washer will rip it off.
