What is your opinion on which is faster, the 700 or the YFZ. One of the mags raced them, and the 450 wins every time. If it's true, then "there is a replacement for displacement"!

Can't help you much with your question, as I haven't ridden the 700 or the 06 Honda. My 04 with HRC kit screams! I ride desert, and the Honda 450 is dominating desert racing. Nine out of the top ten finishers at last month's Baja 1000 were Honda 450's (not a Yamaha in there anywhere!). That's enough of an endorsement for me!

 

Thats the thing when i still had my YFZ it was only stock for maybe a month and i cant remember how it felt stock... I cant even remember how it compared to my friends stock Z. I know the 700 is way quicker then what the Z is. But i just cant remember how my stock 450 felt. Oh well thnks for the reply. I hope someone has had experience with both the 700 and 450R.. Mace
