right now i have a trailblazer 250 w/ and exhaust. What would a good quad to be looking at to upgrade to n the 400cc range? I've been looking at a TB/sport/scrambler 400's, 400ex and z-400 and the clones.

Personally I would go with the EX or Z.
The EX is a little tougher and is a little better in tight trails do to the fact that it will lug down better. The Z400 has a little more performance abilities than the EX. Both are capable of going anywhere and are very reliable.
