its funny to see these guys wonder why a quad thats getting to over 20 years old without nearly any change to the motor, is getting beat by something thats only about 4 years old, thats consistantly getting upgraded. and what do you know? 4v DOHC's have ALOT better powerband and acceleration than 2 valve rocker SOHC aircooled motors.

Spyder, the 400ex is 4 valve too.
So did the 450r do away with the rockers? It's also a unicam but seems to like rpm's a little better than the 400?????
