I was just wondering if anyone has that k&n powerlid on their machine. I want to know if you noticed any power gains and i you had to rejet. I already have a full fmf system, jetted, and a k&n air filter and my dealer said that I would just have to ride it and see how it ran. I dont really like it when they say that.

 

While I dont have the power lid you are talking about...I did put some air vents in my air box lid and I had to up the main jet. This was after I did the other mods I have listed. I installed the vents and tryed to run it...it would not even run right. Therefore, I believe that if you put a vented lid in...you will have to rejet.

 

I replaced my airbox with an outerweras screen. I gotta get it jetted right to work though. now it just bogs and has no power.

 

He says that only because every single atv will have different gains and effects with parts like that I have a k&n air filter on my polaris expedition 325. I havent realy noticed any gains except in gas mileage and more tuorqe

Take a look at the EHS lid. That's the ticket.
